From the splitting of the tube to the final finishing scrape, each reed is processed with the most advanced reed making tools available. Cane is sorted for symmetry, evenness, and hardness to bring you the most consistent reeds possible. A focus on sound, intonation, and response is built into each ProReeds bassoon reed. Blanks are aged for a minimum of two weeks, tested and adjusted over 4 days, then sanitized and shipped to you.
